Each year, the Upper Midwest Chapter hosts four MS annual conferences in different parts of the chapter area. This year’s conferences will be held in Des Moines, Iowa; Minneapolis, Minn.; Sioux Falls, S.D. and Fargo, N.D. The conferences are both for celebration and planning ― we take time to reflect on our achievements and begin shaping the ways we’ll impact the MS movement in the coming year.
This year, our focus is on “Fueling Impact,” which encourages us to celebrate and grow our personal and collective contributions to the MS movement, and highlights our responsibility to deepen connections, further our commitment to ending MS and inspire others to join us in helping everyone affected by the disease live their best lives.
Attend an MS Annual Conference this winter to learn more about what’s in store for the year ahead and how you can fuel impact in 2016. Hear about groundbreaking research, recently approved therapies and what’s in the pipeline. Plus, join us to celebrate the remarkable work of volunteers, donors and other dedicated leaders who made a difference in 2015.
Each conference will also include activities for care partners as well as a connection volunteer networking conference and exhibit area.
Care Partner Networking Event at the MS Annual Conference
Care partners do incredible work to support the lives of people with multiple sclerosis. Join us at the MS Annual Conference for an opportunity to connect with others who understand the experience of caring for someone who has MS. At this casual networking event, you can learn more about resources available to you or simply take some time to relax and enjoy the company.
Teen Connection Event at the MS Annual Conference
Join us for an event held in conjunction with the MS Annual Conference and Sylvies geared towards 13-18 year olds who have MS, have a parent with MS or who live in a household with a person who has MS. Teens will meet other teens who are similarly affected by MS for an afternoon of food and fun. Snacks will be provided. Teens may bring a guest.
