While caring for someone with a chronic illness can be deeply satisfying, it can also be physically and emotionally challenging, especially for the primary care partner. Join us for a conference focused on strategies to best provide care to your loved one and yourself.
In addition to two informational breakout sessions and a networking event, guests will attend the general session, titled “Caring for Ourselves and Others: Facing the Challenges of Care Partnering,” hosted by Tom Ellis, MA, licensed marriage and family therapist and author of “This Thing Called Grief: New Understandings of Loss.” This workshop will help you discover what it means to be a care partner, explore how life has changed, acknowledge how grief impacts lives and create a self-care plan for balance.
A prize giveaway will take place at the end of the event; winners must be present to win. Parking is free and lunch will be provided.
The cost to attend is $10. Registration is required by Tuesday March 29. To sign up, visit the chapter calendar at MSsociety.org or call 800-582-5296.
**This program is for care partners only, not for those with MS. If you are in need of respite care, please call 800-582-5296 for assistance.
