Exercise has been shown to improve overall health and well-being, and can help manage many symptoms of multiple sclerosis. A combination of seated and standing exercises are performed in order to accommodate and adapt to any level of physical ability. From the neck to the ankles, the exercises are catered to address the whole body and enable everybody to participate. Instructors are certified through the MS Society.
STEP MS Exercise Group meets every week on Monday and Wednesday from 11 – 11:45 am.
Each class costs $5 to attend, but the MS Society offers scholarships up to $250 a year in order to offset the cost and encourage people with MS to stay physically active.
